SPORT use case

Coach and team management without scattered club admin

Sports clubs coordinate people, teams and recurring training work at the same time. Akeye connects that structure so coaches can work from the same operational context as club administrators.

This workflow is for clubs that need a clear view of teams, responsible staff, scheduled Activities and the athletes connected to each training session—without turning a shared inbox or spreadsheet into the system of record.

01

A practical team-to-training workflow

Akeye uses the club structure as the starting point, then connects daily work to the right people and athletes.

  1. 01

    Structure teams

Represent club groups as Macro Units and athletes as Micro Units, keeping the operational hierarchy visible.

  2. 02

    Connect responsible staff

Maintain organization memberships and assign eligible Admin, Staff or Management users to Activities.

  3. 03

    Plan training work

Create scheduled or due-date Activities, including recurring occurrences when the same training pattern repeats.

  4. 04

    Follow the current state

Use Activity status, assignments, athlete relations, checklists, reminders and contextual conversation to coordinate delivery.

02

What stays connected

The value comes from keeping the club structure and the work around it in the same model.

Teams and athletes

Team context and athlete records remain connected instead of being duplicated in each coach’s files.

Schedules and ownership

Start and end times, due dates, recurrence and assignees make responsibility visible.

Activity collaboration

Messages, checklists and images can stay with the Activity they concern.

Role-aware views

Administrators, Staff and Application Users receive different product views according to implemented access rules.

03

Clear scope

This page describes current club-operations building blocks, not a promise of every sports-management feature.

  • Akeye does not replace a federation registration or competition-results system.
  • It does not claim automatic roster optimization or coach capacity forecasting.
  • Parent and athlete visibility depends on the relationships and permissions configured in the organization.

FAQ

Coach and team management FAQ

Answers about the scope of this SPORT workflow.

Can Akeye represent several teams in one club?

Yes. The flexible Macro Unit structure can represent multiple teams or groups inside one organization, with athlete Micro Units connected to the relevant structure.

Can a coach see all club Activities?

Not automatically. Staff views follow the implemented assignment, creator and collaboration rules, while administrators have broader organization-level views.

Can training Activities repeat?

Yes. Activities support recurrence, and each generated occurrence remains a distinct operational record with its own current state.
