Groups, classes & activities

For educational organizations, course providers and learning groups exploring a tailored setup. Education is an adaptable use case, not a dedicated native school module.

Education, in practice

Small coordination changes. A clearer day.

Explore four ways a course provider or learning group could use Akeye’s existing core. Start with an everyday task, then confirm the structure, access and enabled features together.

These are examples of possible configuration, not a dedicated Education product. Akeye has no native school module, grading system, LMS, school-system integrations or dedicated education parent portal.

Give each group a shared starting point

Imagine an evening language course with several teaching groups and a small coordination team. A tailored setup could keep each group’s practical context together and connect the staff responsible for its sessions, instead of maintaining a separate list in every inbox.

Akeye already provides organization structure, people, roles and relationships. Together, we would agree how your groups should be represented and which staff can view or change their information. Start with clear responsibilities before inviting people into the shared workspace.

Make the next workshop easy to coordinate

Before a workshop, a coordinator needs a clear time, a responsible colleague and a place to record preparation. Existing Activities and calendar views provide a starting point for bringing those details together, whether you are planning one event or several group sessions.

Use the connected activity information and notes to clarify the next step, assign preparation and follow completion within your setup’s permissions. We would review your timetable constraints before proposing a configuration; this example does not imply automatic school timetabling.

Keep the useful details beside the work

A course provider may need to track a room’s equipment, a resource’s status or a practical requirement for a session. Akeye’s supported configurable record fields offer a starting point for organizing this information, rather than scattering it across unrelated spreadsheets.

Where document access is enabled, supporting files and task notes can stay close to the appropriate work context. We would choose supported field types and relationships and review access with you, so the setup reflects information your team needs rather than an assumed school data model.

Keep coordination close to the conversation

When a facilitator hands a workshop over to a colleague, the next person needs more than an isolated chat message. Existing staff messaging and activity conversations can provide a place to discuss preparation and next steps in the context of the work.

Use the conversation types and participants allowed by your organization’s enabled messaging features. A proposed education setup would confirm who can take part and what context is shared, without assuming access for every learner or parent. Start with the staff conversation you need to improve, then test it together.
